It was David Perez of Spain after five days of play to take the 2015 Redbet Live Rozvadov €299 Main Event at Rozvadov and also the top prize of €54,359.
The event is considered as the Europe’s hottest low stake poker play, and the champion had to survive a group consisting of 1148 players, which also made it the biggest Redbet Live poker tournament conducted here.
Owing to the large number of players registrations, that the total prize pool money inflated to an unprecedented €300,000 which also shattered the offered guarantee money of €200,000 at the Redbet Poker. People who kept close watch of the play at King’s Casino were not surprised by the victory of Sanchez, as he displayed dominative play. His domination of other players was so much that he carried the chip lead of Day 1a to the entire tournament and many players were forced to offer unusual deals that would have potentially brought an earlier closure to the proceedings.
In the last table there were six players remaining and with 34 million chips Sanchez hogged the total chips of 57 million in play and that where the rivals offered him the title and the top prize money while the rest split the pool among them to get €19,561 for each player.
Sanchez appeared as though agreeing with the deal, but Lukasz Paszkiewicz of Poland opposed the proposal as he considered that it is too early to declare the winner when the action still revolved with six-hands. Ironically the Pole was the first to leave the table at the fifth position and he carried the cash prize of €13,764 in his pocket.
Leon Tsoukernik the owner of the King’s Casino said that he returned to Rozvadov in a hurry from Monte Carlo so that he could be there in the middle of action and to support the players. He further said that he was amazed to so many poker players at a Redbet event and according to him credit should be given to Redbet organizers who had made it possible to bring in so many players.
