Poker And Rummy May Feel Heat In Telangana

The government of Telangana is thinking classifying rummy and online poker as forms of gambling and betting, this is the information that has come from various media sources in the country.


According to the reports, the Telangana state government may change the Telangana Gaming Act. It is expected the government will change the ordinance and planning to insert a definition in the act of cyberspace. Those people playing rummy and online poker could face criminal penalties and it is expected that the fine will be about Rs 5,000 for those who commit this offense for the first time. And the fines will be more for subsequent offenses.

In the year 2015, the Supreme Court of India in a hearing declared that poker, card games and online rummy as games of skill. And these games were not considered as illegal in the country. However, the states were given the right to keep this own stand on it. States were allowed to pass the laws regulating gambling and betting. (more…)

Online Poker Available In Croatia Now

Croatia booked the online poker regulation for years. And till 2017 it is seen that there no operator present in Croatia that regulated online poker after holding the license.


According to law of Croatia, only those providers will be able to obtain the license for offering online services that offer in land casino too. After obtaining the license, it has become the first regulated and authorized online poker room in Croatian.

Though, the first online poker room of Croatian is the authorized platform to play games, but this doesn’t mean that the players of all the origin will be able to play poker on this platform. It was David Perez of Spain after five days of play to take the 2015 Redbet Live Rozvadov €299 Main Event at Rozvadov and also the top prize of €54,359.

The event is considered as the Europe’s hottest low stake poker play, and the champion had to survive a group consisting of 1148 players, which also made it the biggest Redbet Live poker tournament conducted here.

Ironically the Pole was the first to leave the table at the fifth position and he carried the cash prize of €13,764 in his pocket.
